Silver Squash Event & Volunteers please

We have agreed to support another Surrey Squash Junior Silver Event 21st - 23rd June and apologise for any inconvenience to all members. Hosting events such as these raise the profile of our club and are an income generator, not least from the attendees but Surrey Squash are also paying to hire our club.

We believe matches will start around 3pm on Friday 21st and run through to 7pm or 8pm depending on match lengths, and 9am to 7pm Sat and Sun, but again this will depend on how long the matches take.

We would encourage as many members as possible to pop in and watch some games, as these are possibly our future UK and World squash players. Separately from this Surrey Squash have asked if we could supply a presence on site for the duration of the tournament, just to point people to local cafe's, make sure there are pens, score sheets (The players mark each others games, so not you) and offer general help if needed.

If you are able to cover a few hours it would be greatly appreciated as 'many hands make light work' and you will also get to watch some superb squash at the same time.
