Squash Tournament 2023

Evening all,

We are excited to invite you all to join in the 2023 Annual Squash tournament, with categories to suit all.

Members entering the Open or Ladies categories will be guaranteed two matches, with everyone competing in the first round, with losing players being automatically entered into the Plate competition.

Each entry will be charged at £3 per entry per player per category (Courts and lights are free for your allotted match, but player will have to pay normal court/light costs for rearranged matches). It is essential that you make every effort to play your match on the night stipulated in the draw. Please contact John on 07801441169 to discuss any rearrangements, as this will need to be sorted before the next round is played otherwise you will forfeit the game.

Entry fees will be deducted from your account on enrolment, unless you wish to make alternative arrangements and contact Sean Doyle.

Please complete the sheet below indicating which category/ies you would like to enter. You can also enter via the website as an online booking, but it might be fun to add your name to this list anyway.

The closing date for entries is midday on 20th April 2023 and the draw will then be made. You will be contacted by 22nd April 2023 with your opponent and time slot to play. At this point a schedule of play will also be generated and published.

The competition will run from 24th April with the Grand Finals being on Saturday 13th May from 3pm to approx. 6 pm.
It would be great to have as much support on finals day as possible and for all members to see a complete range of squash levels, from the club’s top players, through to the competitive and fun of doubles matches.
The finals day will end with the presentation of all trophies and a buffet provided by one of our sponsors – Samsara.
