Squash Tournament - Finals Day

This years tournament is now over and the results are in..

Congratulations to all players taking part on the finals day, making it an eventful and very successful afternoon/evening.

The results were -

Open - Rob Stevenson, winning 3-1, after 3 tightly contested games he ran away with the 4th game. Better luck next time John

Vets - Mark Pope, winning 3-0, unfortunately he had too much power and energy for the super stylish Sanjay.

Vintage - Gary Davidson, winning 3-2, taking out the stand in for the injured chairman, in a very closely matched 5 games.

Handicap - Keyan Shah, winning 2-1 against his big sister in all family affair.

Alternative - Viveck Padmanabhan, beating a tiring Keyan in a clash of styles.

Plate - Nick Triggle , beating Ashley 3-1, his reach and court coverage proving too much for Ash.

Doubles - Rob Stevenson and Pia Shah, coming through 3-2 in an hour and a half. Both pairs entertained a packed balcony with some enthralling squash, with John tinning a match point in the 5th game.
